7

Today, it has been 7 years since I started my blog!

IMG_0202

It’s my blogiversary!!

So here’s a list of 7 things I’ve learned blogging for 7 years:

1-Always remember why you do it.

IMG_6116

I don’t spend a lot of time on other peoples blogs. I am trying my best to get a grip in my life and sitting on the computer all day doesn’t help. So if I don’t have a lot of visitors, because I’m not commenting all the time on others blogs, I’m ok with that. I am leaving a journal with stories and what not for my family and anyone else who would like to visit. I love you all!

2-Put your best foot forward.

I struggle sometimes. I prefer to not focus on complaining. It’s really not me anyway. I am a joyful person! I am always looking for the blessings in life.

3-Have variety.

IMG_6095

If I always focus on one topic, it’s like I’m talking in a monotone voice. That’s not very fun! So it’s good to mix it up.

4-Be totally honest.

I am, what I am. I love to share what I feel and the adventures I’m having. Sometimes, life is challenging. Maybe if I share how I’m working through a challenge it might help someone else. Who’s to say…;)

5-It takes a lot of effort sometimes, and that’s ok.

Remember Dory? Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming!

6-“If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.”

IMG_5315

I am a firm believer that love conquers all. I don’t agree with everyone on the internet, and I know they don’t all agree with me, but we can be kind and show love for other humans when we communicate.

7-Sharing what matters most to me is fun!

My Therapy Dog!

IMG_6269

Dogs are so perceptive.

They know how your doing at any given second. This sweet girl knows she is loved. She stays close and even wants to be on my lap as I sit at my desk working. It can’t be comfortable, but there isn’t a rug, or chair close by so she can be near me. She cries at my feet till I pick her up and put her on my lap.

What a blessing animals are to our lives.

I love this sweet Tayzie Mae!

Thirsty?

photo 2 (6)Tayzie has discovered that she can drink out of the fountain! It is the cutest thing to watch!

Another funny thing she does is that she barks for an ice cube whenever we get ice for a drink. What a cute dog.

When we come home after being gone for a while, she is always very noisy. Crying and barking. You would think we’d been gone for years. Flexy says she an “Emotional basket case!” Funny!

We sure love our furry friend!!!

A Beauty Appointment…For the Dog!

I took Tayzie in to the groomers. She was a mess! We don’t mind giving her a bath every now and then, but we don’t want to do the rest.

Tayzie hopped in the car, for a ride.

By the time we got to the groomers, she was not so sure about the car ride. I carried her in and told them how to trim her, and left. Four hours later I get the call, “She’s ready!!” As I waited for them to bring her out, I read the sign on the counter.

photo (12)I don’t have any problem paying the professionals for grooming the dog.

photo (15)Isn’t she pretty? I think so!

Best “Furry” Friend!

We have a sweet “Furry” friend that lives at our house.

People have called her, “Man’s best friend,” but since there’s not all men at our home we will just call her our “Best ‘Furry’ Friend.”

This is Tayzie right after we got her.

The idea to go get her was Kelsey’s, so when Tayzie is misbehaving, I always call her Kelsey’s dog. Isn’t she adorable? What a fun pup.

Kelsey is pretty darn cute, too!!!

This is the famous “smiling dog” photo!!

Well, maybe not famous, but it should be. TayzieSmiling

And here is Tayzie after her last trip to the beauty parlor for pups. She is so cute!!!!

photo (36)I didn’t know it was so fun to kiss fur!!! Right there, behind her eye!

Flexy say’s she is hormonal, because she gets so excited when we come home, that she literally cries and howls. I usually say to her, “I know, I missed you too!!!”

It is so great to have a “Best ‘Furry’ Friend”!!!!

Our Sweet Smiling Puppy!

TayzieSmiling

Can you see it? She’s smiling! This puppy is so darn cute. It’s a good thing, because she is not very obedient. She doesn’t come when you call, and she loves the mud, even when you tell her to get out of the mud. Maybe she secretly likes bathes. When she cuddles with you, it is the best!!!

I love furry friends!

That Couldn’t Possibly Be Comfortable!

I went into my bedroom and this is what I saw. Tayzie laying on a pillow and the floor. I am amazed at the positions they can sleep in. What a cute pup!

Earlier today the daycare kids where on all fours in the living room. They were barking and playing with Tayzie. It got pretty noisy, but they were having a blast and so was Tayzie. She would run fast around them, then jump up on the couch, then back down again. The kids were all laughing. It was such a fun sight to see. Tayzie loves the daycare kids!

I’m so glad we have our sweet Tayzie!

Tayzie Mae!

We are all in love with our darling Tayzie Mae!

She is such a cute puppy.

One thing she does that is so cute is that she plays fetch. For a little puppy, she’s pretty good at it too! It’s fun to watch her running and playing.

She’s a sweet lil’ pooper!!DSC05660DSC05658

Can you stand how cute she is?

What a fun puppy!!!

Tayzie’s First Bath!

DSC05687

Tayzie had her first bath today!!

She did pretty good.

She is so curious in the yard, she had all kinds of things attached to her. We have pine trees in the yard, so she had pine gum stuck to her. We had to cut a few hairs off that we couldn’t seem to get clean. Now she looks beautiful and clean and she prances around like a proud little puppy.
