Hey my beautiful people!!!

Sounds like you all had a great week. I can’t wait to see the temple!!!
Good job with your job mama that’s awesome 🙂
Tell Gram that I love her so much and give her the biggest hug for me. I wish I could be there to give her some noisy kisses!
My STL responsibilities are going well…… Speaking of which… I have some news….
On Saturday morning President M. called me and told me that he wants me to train again! Yeeee!! Her name is Sister C. (she is going to go to Suriname just like Sister K. who I trained) (she is waiting for her visa) BUT Sister W. and I are staying together!! We will be in a trio! Reason being there needs to be someone to be with my companion because he also called me to Sister Training Leader over Barbados and Grenada as well. So now I will be STL for FIVE ISLANDS and 14 Sisters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy cats. So I will be gone half of the transfer traveling the islands and helping out the sisters! Ha. No pressure right?
Anyway I am excited to learn from the Sisters and to be learning and I train again.. There will be lots of wonderful experiences and I am grateful for this opportunity.
Anyway all is well here. We are working so hard and finding great success through working with the members! It is awesome 🙂
We are having a huge Zone Conf. with a member of the 70 this coming Monday so you probs won;’t get an email!!!! I am excited! I will let you know how it goes!!!
Sorry I am so short on time this week! I love you all so much and thanks for your words!
This week make sure that you recognize Heavenly Father and his tender mercies. They are all over!!!
Love you!!! Love, Sister Emily

Sunday Best!

“Just as earthly seeds require effort and patience, so do many of the blessings of heaven. We cannot put our religion on a shelf and expect to harvest spiritual blessings. But if we plant and nurture gospel standards in the daily life of our family, there is a high probability that our children will grow up to produce spiritual fruit of great value to them and to future generations.

God’s answers to our prayers do not always come immediately—sometimes they do not appear to come at all—but God knows what is best for His children. Assuredly, one day we will see more clearly; and on that day we will recognize the goodness and generosity of heaven.

In the meantime, our goal and great joy is to walk in the footsteps of our Master and Savior and to live good and refined lives so that the promised and precious harvest of God’s priceless blessings can be ours.”

-Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Hope your Sunday is the Best! Love, Joy

Hello to the family of my dreams…

How in the stink are you!?
I am glad that you all had a marvelous week! I did as well.
Last week with the kids??? Mayn! I am going to miss them 🙁 But I am excited to hear how your new job goes!!
Ok so I am sending pictures so my email will be shorter!! I will tell you all the important things 🙂
This week was a great week!
We are working with lots of members! The majority of our teaching pool is member referrals so that is the best 🙂
This week we had dinner at a white med student couples house!! They are so nice and from Arizona.
This week I was still feeling pretty worn out and tired and achy from my illness! But I felt much better now!!
I skyped both the St. Lucia Sisters and Suriname Sisters. It was wonderful they are such awesome sisters!! I counselled them on things they are struggling with and followed up in things and stuff!
Miracle of the week: We met this man A. He is a blessing. We had a first lesson with him and then left him with the Restoration booklet and he read the whole thing and understands it completely. He is so excited about the gospel and just wants to learn more! He is very prepared and I am so grateful for him 🙂 He is a referral from A. (the angel member). LOVE IT!
Sometimes my heart just feels so overwhelmed with joy and love for the gospel. Many tender mercies remind me why I am here and help me to stay strong through anything.
We were left a challenge by the mission president, to read from the Book of Mormon and ponder on a specific topic and read through and highlight those things and answer questions we have. I decided to study prayer. I have seen miracles! I was doing this with the intent of having more sincere effective prayers and my whole experience is changing. I find myself praying and just starting to cry because I know that I am speaking to my Father and that he is listening and loves me. And he also knows and loves the people that I pray for so earnestly.
I think you all should take this challenge and apply it in your lifes!
Also my challenge and commitment for you this week is to read Moroni 7:45 and as read you read through replace the word charity with your name and see if you think it applies to you…..
We need to be more Christlike in our lives. Heavenly Father can help us.
I know with all my heart that the Book of Mormon is true. It has helped bring changes in my life.
Recently I have been writing down a lot of my thoughts and things that led to my mission and it is AMAZING to see how the Lord has worked in my life. Anyway so many good things!
Funny thing: Yesterday right before church we were walking out the door and THE HUGEST SPIDER WAS ON OUR DOOR AND ALMOST WENT IN OUR HOUSE!!! It scurred me so bad. I also gave a talk yesterday! It was very nice I hope. It was on Enduring Well.
Alright that is mostly all for this week. I am doing well and still going 110%!! Yay!!!!
I love you all dearly. Thanks for all you do everybody!
Love always, Sister Emily 🙂
